The Super Falcons<\/a> of Nigeria battled Ireland's women's team in their last Group B match of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. The clash took place at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia on Monday.<\/p>\n

The Super Falcons are appearing at the Women's World Cup for the ninth time, and we're determined to go past the group stage in this year's event like they did in the 2019 edition.<\/p>\n

Prior to kick-off, Nigeria were on top of Group B, keeping in mind that they only needed to draw against Ireland to ensure qualification into the knockout stage. You can get the match review here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, the Super Falcons played out a 0-0 draw against Ireland to finish the group on five points, and qualify to the Round of 16 for the second time in the last two editions of this tournament.<\/p>\n
